SUSE CaaS Platform Administration — Course CAAS201v4.5

This two day course is designed for system administrators, DevOps, system engineers and others who need an introduction to Containers, Kubernetes and specifically SUSE CaaS Platform.

The course begins with an introduction to containers and container orchestration. Students will then learn about and explore Kubernetes, including launching applications, configuring networking, storage and security, and using Helm to deploy applications. The course includes comprehensive presentation content to introduce new concepts and processes and extensive hands-on experience.

SUSE CaaS Platform Advanced Administration — Course CAAS301v4.5

This one day course is designed for system administrators, support engineers, DevOps, and others who want to be able to get more out of the SUSE CaaS Platform Installations.

Participants begin with an introduction to troubleshooting and centralized logging, then advanced networking with Cilium, monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana, backup and recovery with Velero, and finally writing pod security policies.

SUSE Cloud Application Platform Usage for Developers — Course CAP201v2

This two day course introduces students to SUSE Cloud Application Platform (CAP). The course is focused on Developers wanting to run their code on a CAP cluster the easiest way possible, by running a single command – cf push.

This course will prepare participants to take and pass the SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA) in SUSE Cloud Application Platform 2.

SUSE Cloud Application Platform Deployment for Operators — Course CAP211v2

This two day course introduces students to SUSE Cloud Application Platform Deployment. The course is focused on Operators installing the product on-prem on SUSE CaaS Platform and in the public cloud on Microsoft Azure AKS and Amazon AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters.

SUSE CaaS Platform Administration — Course CAAS201v4

This three day course is designed for system administrators, DevOps, system engineers and others who want to be introduced to SUSE CaaS Platform and Kubernetes.

Participants begin with an introduction to containers and container orchestration, followed by the installation and introduction of SUSE CaaS Platform. Students will explore Kubernetes, including adding nodes, networking, security, and using Helm to deploy applications. All sections focus heavily on hands-on experience with presentations.

Introduction to SUSE Cloud Application Platform — Course CAP101

This one day course is designed for system administrators and developers who want to be introduced to SUSE Cloud Application Platform and Cloud Foundry.

This course helps prepare students for the Foundational Assessment in SUSE Cloud Application Platform.

SUSE Cloud Application Platform Deployment — Course CAP111

This one day course is designed for system administrators, DevOps, system engineers and others who want to be able to deploy SUSE Cloud Application Platform.

Participants install SUSE Cloud Application Platform on SUSE CaaS Platform, Microsoft Azure AKS, and Amazon EKS. In this course, the participants have the opportunity to create Kubernetes clusters with public cloud providers as well as seeing how to install in an on-premise Kubernetes cluster.
